Hamilton's biggest drawcard is a giant food market. Eat Street is a feast in every sense – sights, smells, tastes and sounds come to life in this shipping container food village every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night.

Along the riverside north of Brisbane Central Business District, Eat Street is home is more than 180 food vendors and stalls with every cuisine you could possibly imagine. Around the shipping containers are hundreds of thousands of fairy lights, live music, comedy and entertainment, and places to lounge about.

Towards the city from Eat Street is Portside Wharf, a trendy riverside hub with modern, world-class restaurants, designer fashion, an art-house Dendy cinema and Brisbane's cruise terminal.

In the opposite direction at Hamilton Northshore, Riverlife offers kayaking experiences along the river.
