Shute Harbour

Shute Harbour, located just 10 km east from Airlie Beach, is a small residential community and a port facility for tours and transfers to the Whitsunday islands. Surrounded by the beautiful Conway National Park, it is a great place to park your car and start exploring the many bushwalks available.

From Shute Harbour Marina, also known as the Shute Harbour Marine Terminal, visitor can access several resort destinations in the Whitsunday Islands or join one of the many water experiences. You are also welcome to bring your own boat at the public boat ramp, but keep in mind that parking for trailers is limited. There is also a fishing jetty, an excellent place to catch various types of tropical Whitsunday fish and squid.

There is plenty of paid parking for those heading out to the islands.
