Travel Daily Asia Competition

TERMS & CONDITIONS

By submitting an entry, all entrants are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.

1. Entrants must be current trade subscribers to the Travel Daily Asia eDM newsletter and be at least 18 years of age. 

2. A person will be entered into the competition by answering the following question in 50 words or less:

If you could send your clients to any Queensland destination, where would it be and why?

3. The “Prize” is one of 3 x Visa Gift Cards valued at $200 each.  There will be three winners selected.  

4. The Competition will open on 30 November 2022 and close on 30 December 2022.

5. Competition answers should be emailed to: trade@queensland.com. A person can only submit one entry.  

6. The entry must be the original independent creation of the entrant.  Incomprehensible and incomplete entries will be deemed invalid.

7. Entry details remain the property of the Promoter. Additionally, all literary works submitted as part of an entry become the property of the Promoter and it is a condition of entry that those literary works may be used by the Promoter for their own promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without restriction.

8. This is a game of skill; chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged based on its literary and creative merit of the answer to the question provided. The judges’ decision in relation to any aspect of the Competition will be final and binding on every person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into.

9. Judging will take place at the Promoter’s office (being Level 8, Green Square North Tower, 515 St Pauls Terrace, Fortitude Valley QLD 4006.

10. If your entry is selected as a winning entry, validation of your entry and eligibility will be undertaken by the Promoter.  The method of validation will be determined by the Promoter at its complete discretion.

11. The winners will be notified by email on 9 January 2023. If a winner does not respond within one week of selection a replacement winner may be selected at the Promoter’s discretion.

12. The Prize is not transferable or exchangeable or redeemable for cash. 

13. The Promoter will ensure that all Personal Information in connection with this Competition is collected, stored and used in accordance with its Privacy Policy which can be found at: https://www.queensland.com/au/en/info/privacy-policy.

14. The Promoter’s decision concerning any aspect of this Competition is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter may amend these terms and conditions at any time.

15. Without limiting the above, the Promoter reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the Competition without notice.

16. This Competition and these terms and conditions will be construed in accordance with, and governed by, the laws of Queensland, Australia.

17. The Promoter is Tourism and Events Queensland of Level 8, Green Square North Tower, 515 St Pauls Terrace, Fortitude Valley QLD 4006.
