Full terms and conditions

1.             Information on how to enter forms part of the terms and conditions of entry. By entering the promotion, participants are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.

2.             Participants must be existing subscribers to Tourism and Events Queensland’s enewsletter who currently reside in Queensland and are 18 years of age or over.

3.             You will be entered into the promotion by visiting https://www.queensland.com/competitions and completing the information requested. The promotion will open at 9.00am (AEST) on 14 November 2022 and close at 5.00pm (AEST) on 21 November 2022.

4.             Eligible participants will go into a random draw to win the following prize:

i)               Entry tickets for two people to Woodford Folk Festival 2022, from 27 December 2022 to 1 January 2023;

ii)             Festival camping and vehicle pass;

iii)            Tent accommodation at Tent City;

iv)            Table and chair hire.

5.         The winner will be randomly selected by Tourism and Events Queensland on Tuesday 22 November 2022 at 515 St Pauls Terrace, Fortitude Valley, 4006. The winners will be notified by email on 23 November 2022 and must respond within 1 week. If the prize is not claimed within 1 week of the draw, a re-draw for the unclaimed prize will be conducted.

6.         The prize cannot be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash.

7.         If the prize is unavailable, for whatever reason, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for a prize of equal or greater value. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and prize supplier’s requirements. The prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prize as stated.

8.         By entering the promotion, participants accept that the Promoter may use their name and likeness for their promotional and publicity purposes without the payment of any fee. Participants accept that the Promoter will be capturing personal information to administer the promotion.

9.           Tourism and Events Queensland’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.  Each participant releases and indemnifies Tourism and Events Queensland against all liability, cost, loss or expense arising out of acceptance of a prize or participation in the promotion.
