The biggest ticket at Brisbane Cycling Festival this March will be the AusCycling Track National Championships (25 - 30 March). Australia’s best track cyclists are returning to Brisbane’s Anna Meares Velodrome - will you be there to see who wins the coveted green and gold champions jersey? Events across the fast and furious five days include the keirin, individual and team pursuits, individual time trials, points race, scratch race and omnium.
Want to take part in the annual fun ride, Tour de Brisbane? Mark your calendar for 13 April 2025.
World Science Festival is back this March to celebrate science, ideas and curiosity. If there are two types of music on your playlist: country and western – CMC Rocks Qld needs no introduction, and you've probably already scored your tickets to this year's three-day festival. Only VIP tickets remain for 2025's epic music showdown, which features Thomas Rhett, Jon Pardi, Cody Johnson, Cole Swindell and so many more. Don't forget to grab your camping gear and your cowboy boots.
The sparkling Southern Gold Coast will host ten days of fierce volleyball competitions on famous Coolangatta Beach. The iconic VolleySlam includes four competitions from schools to state representation, the Australian Championships and the highly anticipated World Beach Pro Tour.
Nine days. 480 events. 7,000 participants from Australia’s 314 volunteer surf clubs – along with international competitors.
By numbers, the 101st Australian Surf Life Saving Championships – also known as The Aussies – is impressive. In fact, this is the largest event of its kind. But it’s more impressive if you head to the Gold Coast yourself and watch the action play out at Tugun SLSC and North Kira SLSC.
The Aussies will crown the Australian champions across the three national championships - Youth, Open and Masters along with the Aussies Australian Ocean Swim.
Australia’s largest surfing celebration, Noosa Festival of Surfing, returns to Laguna Bay for its 34th year – and there’s never been a better time to spend a weekend on the coast. Expect plenty of competition – including the WSL Longboard Open – along with all things surf culture: art, film, live music, and eco-friendly initiatives.

There are six trail run distances ranging from 15km to 100km, and throughout the festival attendees can sign up for a range of wellness and social activities including river cruises, social lunches, sunrise hikes and the ‘Sunday Shakedown’ on Noosa’s Main Beach.
The famous Mooloolaba Triathlon (Moo Tri) returns with a jam-packed weekend of festival fun for the whole family. It’s known as the second largest triathlon in Australia – and one of the best-looking courses you can compete on.

Triathlons are tough – but what about one that adds some serious heat into the mix too?
Hell of the West returns to Goondiwindi for its 34th year. Described as Queensland's iconic long course triathlon event, HOTW is the "toughest (and oldest) triathlon in Queensland" consisting of a two-kilometre swim in the mighty Macintyre River, 80 kilometre "dead flat" cycle along the Barwon Highway heading west and 20 kilometre 'hot as hell' run along the picturesque Macintyre River.
The festival weekend also includes the Hell Kids Triathlon, Firestarter Triathlon, and 5 and 10-km Inferno Charity Runs.
Take a bite of the tropical north’s best flavours at Feast of the Senses. A vibrant community food festival held at Innisfail, around an hour’s drive south of Cairns, it’s your chance to taste rare and exotic fruits, produce and small goods grown or made right here on the Cassowary Coast.
Mark your calendar for the main event Riverfeast – on 30 March – when the streets come alive with stallholders, cooking demonstrations and family fun. But be sure to explore the huge range of local events held throughout the week, from trivia nights and art history tours, family feasts, set dinners, and food trails.
