Whether nudging the Great Barrier Reef, or in the middle of the desert, here lie some of the most beautiful golf courses in Queensland that promise to make your practice extra special.

It’s hard to argue against this being one of the most beautiful golf courses in Queensland considering that the 18-hole par 71 green is accessible only by boat ride from Hamilton Island, sitting on Dent Island off the iconic Great Barrier Reef. It’s also believed to be one of the most challenging courses, designed by five-time British Open winner Peter Thomson.

Half Moon Bay Golf Club, Cairns
