Coolangatta restaurants and cafes

One of the most popular destinations on the Gold Coast with its famous surf breaks and long stretches of sand, Coolangatta is so much more than an iconic surf, sand and sun destination. Bassk is one of the top choices in Coolangatta, due as much to its beachfront location as its traditional Italian menu and signature cocktails, especially its magical ‘Bassk in the Sun’. For sunny summer vibes — regardless of what the weather is doing outside — head to Tupe-Aloha Bar & Grill, a tropical tiki taco joint serving up Mexican food with a Hawaiian twist and a very affordable drinks menu to entice you to stick around a little longer. Eddie’s Grub House is definitely a top candidate for burgers, bourbon, beer and live music.

Broadbeach restaurants and cafes

As Broadbeach delivers one of the best dining selections on the Gold Coast, you’ll find yourself spoiled for choice, with everything from Bavarian to Middle Eastern and Asian on the menu. Kickstart your day in beautiful Broadbeach with breakfast at Elk Espresso, one of the most buzzing cafes in Broadbeach, with its extensive and hearty breakfast and lunch menus. Vegetarians will love Cardamom Pod for the healthy, vibrant dishes it offers, not to mention its outstanding, ever-changing all-you-can-eat weekday lunch and dinner menu. For exquisite Japanese fare created by an internationally-renowned chef and extensive wine and whiskey selection, don’t miss Kiyomi in the Star Grand.

Surfers Paradise restaurants and cafes

As one of the hot spots on the Gold Coast, Surfers Paradise doesn’t disappoint on the eating front. If it’s classy fare you’re looking for, the hotels that line the main strip are a top place to start. For a variety of Asian cuisine, Surfers definitely hits the spot with Asian fusion delights at Catch Restaurant in the Hilton Surfers Paradise and Misono at the Surfers Paradise Marriott Resort & Spa, which is one of the largest teppanyaki bars in Australia. And don’t miss Bazaar at QT Gold Coast which offers a gourmet buffet that will leave you wishing you’d left room for more. Seascape is one of the top choices at Surfers with its commanding sea views from its three levels on the Soul Boardwalk, with each level offering a different dining option. If it’s more casual dining that you’re craving, cult burger joint, Betty’s Burgers, is an absolute must-visit — and there’s another location in Broadbeach if you’re exploring all that the Gold Coast has to offer. And you should.

Burleigh Heads restaurants and cafes

Burleigh Heads is renowned as a top foodie getaway destination and with an extensive list of fantastic restaurants and cafes located moments from one of the best beaches on the Gold Coast, it should come as no surprise. Rick Shores with its picture-perfect beachfront location, unbelievable menu and award-winning wine list is an absolute must-visit. Post meal, head upstairs to Burleigh Pavilion for cocktails and share plates on the sprawling, ocean-front deck. For sophisticated dining experiences with a modern Australian menu to match, Restaurant Labart is one of the top restaurants in Burleigh Heads, or for something a little more casual, check out pizzeria and wine bar Justin Lane with its prime rooftop location and Jimmy Wahs for sumptuous Vietnamese fare. Up early and looking for coffee and hearty breakfast fare? Local faves Commune and Canteen Coffee and Kitchen are both top choices to start your day.
