Thargomindah Birdwatching Tours is an ecotour business providing expert birding tours into the far south west regions of Queensland, specifically the Bulloo Shire local government area and its administrative centre of Thargomindah.
The ecotours are primarily conducted over a 4- or 5-day period and are centred on the Currawinya National Park and the Lake Wyara RAMSAR site. Other tour locations are the Lake Bindigolly National Park and the Bulloo River Flood Plain.
The tours cater for small birding groups of 3 or 4 participants to limit the carbon footprint within the pristine environment of the locations.
The Tours are operated and resourced from Thargomindah to assist in maintaining a strong economic contribution to this outback township.
