You can now learn about Queensland’s Indigenous culture from 22,000 feet.
For July only, Yagurli Tours, in partnership with Balloon Aloft, is offering a 30-40 minute hot air balloon ride over the town of Burketown in the Gulf of Carpentaria. This unforgettable flight takes in spectacular views of the unique landscape including Australia’s largest salt pan, over the Albert River and out to the ocean, and includes a champagne celebration after landing.
Burketown holds cultural significance to the Gangalidda and Garawana Peoples who have inhabited the land for more than 70,000 years, and who tell stories of its meaning during the flight.
Yagurli stargazing tour
In addition to the new tour, Yagurli Tours also offers guided fishing charters, 4WD, and stargazing tours.
