The iconic Riverside at the Gardens Market off Alice Street in Brisbane's CBD has expanded to include Riverside at the Gardens QUT Infusion Market, with the two markets connecting directly through a lush pathway in the City Botanic Gardens.

Held every Sunday, the two Riverside markets will run concurrently every Sunday from 8am to 3pm, bringing energy, colour, music, arts and people to this historic end of George St and the QUT precinct.

Visitors can browse the likes of ethically made clothing, homewares, artisan jewellery, essential oils, diffusers, soaps, flowers, candles, pet accessories, toys and even pet cupcakes. The food is just as tempting as the wares, with the likes of wild rissole, gourmet German sausages, authentic African dishes and slow cooked Aussie brisket on the menu.

Live bands will be creating chilled sounds and cool vibes alongside playful entertainment and Creative Nations Indigenous performances.

The expansion was launched by Brisbane’s trailblazer of open-air markets, Peter Hackworth. Peter's daughter Michaele grew up around her mum’s markets and is now the manager of both Riverside Markets, while Michaele’s son Kai will be joining his mum and grandmother running them too.
