Documenting the history of Redlands Coast in South East Queensland, Redland Museum is the place to discover the changing faces of this beautiful region as it grew to become what it is today.

This award-winning, volunteer-driven, community museum has a vast range of exhibitions, artifacts and memorabilia.

Revisit the farming days of Redlands Coast when the region was a highly productive farming community affectionately known as Brisbane’s salad bowl, and marvel at the stunning, floor to ceiling mural in the Dan Holzapfel Farm Pavilion.

Other exhibitions include a blacksmith display, chapel, school classroom, post office and bedroom from yesteryear and many more treasures.

See the museum’s outstanding textiles display and doll collection. Learn the stories of Redlands Coast in a permanent exhibition in the museum’s Rotary Wing.

Also see an exquisite scale model of the historic Whepsted Manor.

Redland Museum also hosts a range of special exhibitions and events and concerts, conducts school tours, welcomes community group tours, and is home to the Australian Toy Hall of Fame – the only one of its kind in the country.

Conveniently located in the Redlands Coast of South East Queensland, Redland Museum is accessible by car and bus and is a 20-minute walk from Cleveland railway station.

Redland Museum has been officially accredited with QTAB Queensland Tourism Accreditation as a sustainable & quality tourism operator.
