Roma Saleyards is the largest cattle-selling facility in Australia, known for its bustling atmosphere and record-breaking sales.
The precinct comes alive each week on Tuesdays for fast-paced auctions showcasing an impressive array of cattle, drawing buyers from near and far. Special events including Bull Sales and Special Breed Sales also take place throughout the year.
Free tours are available each Tuesday morning from retired cattle farmers, giving guests insights into the inner workings of the industry.
The Val Harms Interactive Centre onsite explores the history of the beef industry in the Maranoa and its significant role in the local economy and culture.
