If rustic wedding venues are what you’re after, you’ll find a cluster of vineyards and farm houses scattered within our borders, like these country and hinterland wedding venues in Queensland.
Say your vows among fields of purple on the Kooroomba Vineyard and Lavender Farm. The Scenic Rim resident doesn’t just have flowers in spades, but wine too courtesy of its vines spread across six hectares.

One of the most popular places to get married is Sirromet Winery, one of the best country wedding venues in Queensland. Conveniently close to the CBD (just 30 minutes), this sprawling estate encapsulates 560 acres, boasting stunning views of Moreton Bay plus some award-winning wine.
Though you may be tempted by the history of the heritage Woodlands of Marburg. The plantation-style estate nudging the edge of Ipswich was built back in 1889 and boasts an authentic onsite 19th century chapel.

Gather your nearest and dearest among the foliage at Pethers Rainforest Retreat on sub-tropical Tamborine Mountain. The adults-only retreat has a reputation for its weddings, catering from small elopements to groups of 80.

Cool climate wedding take your fancy? Get a good look at Granite Belt Retreat in Stanthorpe. Spread across 30 acres of natural bushland, the Retreat features 19 rustic cedar cabins, a microbrewery and restaurant.
Embrace country life with a wedding at Branell Homestead, a reception space and accommodation option in one. Settled in Laidley, this 80 acre rural property (to do with what you wish) offers all the rustic romance you could wish for.

Say your vows at one of Toowoomba’s most historic offerings, Gabbinbar Homestead. A former summer resort for governors of the state, the heritage-listed villa is today more commonly used as one of the top country wedding venues in Queensland.
The grandeur of days gone by may tempt you to say your vows at the historical property of Jimbour on the Darling Downs, a restored Dalby resident that’s home to a gathering of photogenic heritage buildings surrounded by towering figs and palms.
Intimate gatherings are well-suited to Jubri’s Hideaway, the boutique country venue in the Western Darling Downs with a quartet of indoor and outdoor event spaces to choose from.
