8.20am - Daintree Rainforest Tour
Your day begins, a little later at 8.20am, with a drive to the Daintree River and Cape Tribulation section of the Daintree National Park. Morning tea is served at Thornton's Beach, lush rainforest lining the soft sand of this stunning beach. Join a one hour wilderness cruise along Cooper Creek, the only tour boat permitted in the Cape Tribulation section of the Daintree National Park. Spot crocodiles, birds and other wildlife while learning about this incredible ecosystem. Work up an appetite with a rainforest walk before enjoying a delicious lunch served in the heart of the Noah Valley at a secluded rainforest retreat. The trip home includes a stop at the Daintree Ice Cream Company, another rainforest at Jindalba, one of the most rewarding tracks in this ancient rainforest and a short stroll through the magnificent Mossman Gorge. Arrive back in Port Douglas at approximately at 5.15pm.
