Multi award winning End Of The Road Motel features the only absolute beach front holiday accommodation in the Gulf of Carpentaria. They are situated at Karumba Point next to the famous Sunset Tavern overlooking the Gulf of Carpentaria, on the mouth of the Norman River where the outback meets the sea in style. Relax and enjoy the spectacular sunsets over the Gulf of Carpentaria, indulge in platters of local prawns, crabs and a glass of wine.
Spacious self contained, air-conditioned apartments designed for long term stays include resort style timber furniture. One and two bedroom apartments are ideal for family getaway. Inground fresh water pool and barbecue areas are provided for the outdoor holiday experience. Guided barramundi fishing packages are available. They have undercover parking, boat and bus parking area and fish filleting table.
If travelling by road, it is bitumen all the way; a smooth and relaxing drive for all.

Fully self-contained one bedroom apartment with queen size bed. All units are air-conditioned and comfortably furnished in stylish timber resort style furniture.
2 Bedroom Apartment
Two bedroom apartment consists of a queen bed in one bedroom and two single beds in second bedroom. Fully self-contained, air-conditioned with separate kitchen, lounge and bathroom.
Beachfront Executive Suite
Executive Suites feature open plan, fully self-contained, air-conditioned units with a king size bed and one single bed. They feature beach front, spacious units opening onto a grassed outdoor area overlooking the mouth of the Norman River and the Gulf of Carpentaria; only a few steps down onto the beach.
