Brisbane’s most dazzling celebration of Queer arts and culture continues into November, so if you haven’t already experienced a show or two, now’s the time to grab tickets.
Melt offers endless incredible performances and experiences across all genres of the arts, from art exhibitions to comedy, cabaret, EDM nights, and drag performances. Be sure to tuck into global cuisine at Night Feast, lively food markets hosted by festival producer Brisbane Powerhouse (16 Oct – 10 Nov), and mark your calendar for the first-ever River Pride Parade (9 Nov) which is sure to be the most colourful and camp flotilla to cruise Brisbane River.
Queensland Music Trails arrives in the World Heritage listed surrounds of the Scenic Rim, delivering two unforgettable events for indie music fans.
The Long Sunset (1 – 3 Nov) returns to the rolling hills of Canungra's Elysian Fields, headlined by Aussie favorites Matt Corby and Angie McMahon, alongside New Zealand's LEISURE, indie acts like Eliza & the Delusionals, and future-soul star Ngaiire. Enjoy live music, camping, yoga, and cultural workshops.
Wrap up the weekend at winery The Overflow Estate 1895 for Taste of Country (3 Nov), where live performances among the vines are met with gourmet dining curated by French chef Olivier Boudon in collaboration with Mununjali Traditional Owners. BYO picnic blanket and settle in - soundtracking the Music on the Lawn session is captivating singer-songwriter Sara Berki, genre-bending indie pop upcomer Stelle and pop soul maven Sunny Luwe.

One of Queensland’s toughest endurance events, set in one of our most spectacular coastal towns, Noosa Triathlon returns with an action-packed festival for all.
The Noosa Triathlon Festival will host more than 30,000 spectators and see 13,000 competitors from across the globe compete in one of the world’s largest Olympic-length triathlons and the biggest multi-sports festival in the Southern Hemisphere. There’s a huge lineup of events outside the main triathlon, allowing everyone to get involved and experience endurance sport on a truly beautiful course – all ages, all abilities, and all fitness levels.
If you’re a music lover, there’s no better time to visit Airlie Beach – the gateway to the sparkling Whitsunday Islands – than during the annual Festival of Music. The four-day festival is set by the water’s edge, with the main stage at Whitsunday Sailing Club, while many other events pop up at other venues and bars around town
Spanning iconic Aussie acts to emerging party starters, this year’s festival includes Rose Tattoo, Thirsty Merc, Christine Anu, Jebediah, Ash Grunwald and Reece Mastin – along with a number of international artists.

Hamilton Island might be one of Australia’s favourite relaxation holidays, but paradise feels even better from the finish line. Push your limits during the Hamilton Island Ocean Swim and the clear waters of Catseye Beach will be yours for a 2km or 750-metre ocean swim. There’s also a 350m race for the under 13s, and plenty of exciting activities throughout the weekend.
The Ocean Swim is part of the renowned Hamilton Island Endurance Series, which includes a triathlon and junior triathlon, both held on 23 November 2024.
