Ipswich Historical Society and the Heritage Bus Association provide visitors with access to an experience that includes the opportunity to ride a Heritage Bus through the historical Blackstone area.
Your driver is Donald, President of the Heritage Bus Association, and your ride will include commentary about the history of the area from either Donald or Hugh Taylor, President of the Ipswich Historical Society. These experiences are not available on a regular basis, however the next will be on 19 October 2024.

Heritage Bus Tour through the Historic Blackstone area
Experience a bus trip of the past while finding out the history of the Blackstone area through the commentary offered by Hugh Taylor, President of the Ipswich Historical Society. Your driver, Donald Behan, is the President of the Heritage Bus Association of Queensland and knows his buses inside out.
Your tour price includes entry to Cooneana Heritage Centre before and after your tour. The Centre is open until 2pm. Bring a picnic and enjoy it in the beautiful gardens.
