City of Logan

Logan Central, Logan City Area

Destination

The City of Logan is nestled between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. It's a diverse location of rivers, urban hubs and open space, bringing together natural beauty, heart-pumping adventure, historical sites, culture and unique shopping experiences.

There are pristine regional parks beside the Logan River, walking and cycling trails through wetlands and bushland, and the expansive Daisy Hill Koala Conservation Area (including the Daisy Hill Koala Centre). There are many places along the Logan and Albert Rivers to fish by pontoon or to launch your own tinnie or kayak.

For the more adventurous, there's go-kart racing at Kingston Park Raceway, wake-boarding at Bayside Wake Park in Carbrook and indoor rock climbing at Cornubia.

Logan is a vibrant and diverse city, offering unique experiences from meditation in the Chinese Chung Tian Buddhist Temple, to the bustling Global Food Markets, each Sunday packed with produce from Asia, Africa and Europe. The city is also rich in history, which can be best experienced at the Spirits of the Red Sand, Beenleigh Artisan Distillery, Logan Village and the Beenleigh Historical Village and Museum. There's also the amazing Distillery Road Markets, with live music, food trucks and possibly Australia's best coffee.

The eastern suburbs are popular shopping destinations, with mega homemaker centres easily accessible from the Pacific Motorway (M1).

The City of Logan is only 35 minutes from Brisbane City and the Gold Coast. It is most easily accessed by car but is also well serviced by trains and buses.
