Situated on the south side of Townsville, only a short 10-15 minutes’ drive to local shopping and attractions. The park is set on 14 acres of undulating grounds with numerous animal life accompanied by a vast array of local flora. Townsville Eco Resort offers numerous options for big rigs, caravans, campervans, tents, and luxury glamping tents. The Black Barra Bar & Café overlooking the beautiful wetland. Within close proximity to Bowling Green Bay National Park where you may swim in the crystal-clear waters or hike the trails exploring and photographing the extraordinary scenery and wildlife.
BIG4 Eco Resort Townsville is Advanced Eco-Tourism Accredited, and has a 3-star rating for energy, waste and water with CCIQ Ecobiz. They are not connected to town water or waste. Water is pumped via an onsite bore and processed by a reverse osmosis system for customer enjoyment of facilities, and wastewater processed via the onsite sewage facility. Electricity is also offset via a large bank of solar PV and includes battery backup.

Non Powered grassy site near camp kitchen and pool area with short distance to amenity block.
Glamping Tents
Glamping Tents overlook the wetland. They have very comfy beds, a luxurious private bathroom and sleep 2-4 people.
Powered Site
Powered grass site near pool and camp kitchen suitable for small motor homes, camper vans, camper trailers and tents.
Powered Slab Site
Powered slab sites are mostly drive thru and have available water and power connection including sullage. Some are shaded by large mahogany trees whilst others are in full sun.
Budget Cabin
Air-conditioned cabin with double bed. Facilities include cook-top, full fridge, television and undercover area. Linen is supplied.
Please note cabin is non smoking and not serviced. No toilet or shower though it is situated next to the amenity block.
