Set on 225 acres of one of Australia’s most diverse ecosystems, Greenhoose is a base from which to explore tropical rainforest, savannah, and reef.

Greenhoose offers unparalleled access to Kutini-Payamu (Iron Range) National Park, Australia’s largest lowland rainforest and a unique biodiverse area that mirrors Papua New Guinea in flora and fauna. Birds such as the Magnificent Rifle-bird, Eclectus Parrot, Northern Scrub-Robin and Palm Cockatoo are common sightings at Greenhoose and a private walking trail takes guests on a circuit through the rainforest.

Lockhart River is a small indigenous town famous for artwork created by the Lockhart River Art Gang and also provides essential fuel and supplies. Chilli Beach is nearby, renowned for its palm-fringed beaches and clear blue water.
