Fish D'vine and the Rum Bar, The Whitsundays, Queensland

Discover The Whitsundays'
Restaurants and Cafes

Explore the Whitsundays' finest flavours

One of Queensland’s most beautiful residents is undoubtedly the Whitsundays. The genetically-blessed group of 74 islands sit in the middle of the Great Barrier Reef and has long remained one of the state’s favourite destinations for tourists. But aside from its abundance of natural beauty, including the iconic Whitehaven Beach, there’s an array of Whitsundays restaurants and cafes to keep you well-fed and satisfied during your time in the region.

As one of the most popular islands, Hamilton Island, in particular, is flooded with eating establishments. Resorts here are in plentiful supply, including the much-revered qualia, home to an array of fine dining offerings. But that’s not to say guests will always have to dig deep - Hamilton Island is equally home to a number of casual venues scattered around the waterfront.

And don’t forget the mainland. The Whitsunday coast is awash with both natural attractions and food venues. Particularly in the main town of Airlie Beach - the coastal enclave’s Esplanade is home to a growing population of restaurants and cafes. Special mention also goes to the much-loved Whitsundays Sailing Club in Airlie Point, home to a menu heavy on local seafood and some of the best views in the district.
