Comedy Tours was established by Ida Portella Business & Travel Services in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic with the idea to bring a little laughter to the world when it got a little blue.
Using a range of fictional, comical characters who escort locally created tours in the Mareeba Shire and surrounding regions, Comedy Tours focuses on promoting everything local: the people, the history, the produce, and most of all the heart. Ida and her talented guides make every tour a true delight, with travelers leaving our tours well-informed, highly entertained, and usually well-fed.
