Opalton Bush Park

Opalton Bush Park is located 125klms south of Winton.

With wide open spaces to camp, some undercover sites, 3 x rustic huts, barbeque facilities, toilets, showers (hot water via a donkey), tank water, mobile phone coverage, friendly local miners and of course, a huge area to noodle for opal in the designated fossicking area, it's great fun.

A small shop caters for basics including bread, milk, ice, drinks and snacks.

Bird watching is very popular with rare species located in the area.

7klms of walking tracks recently installed takes you to historic sites around the area including a lookout, historic cemetery and township.

There is a beautiful dam to sit and watch the wildlife or take a swim on those hot days.
