Holloways Beach

Just a 10 minute drive north of Cairns, Holloways Beach is one of the first of the city’s famous northern beaches. Its relaxed, tropical vibe makes it the perfect beach to relax with a good book and catch up on some “me” time.

The clean gentle waters of the Coral Sea are protected with stinger nets during the summer months and patrolled year-round.

Accommodation ranges from affordable self-contained units to a five-star resort right on the beach. Cute cafes, restaurants and beach-side dining offer the best of the area’s fresh local produce. For fine dining North Queensland-style, grab some local prawns and take advantage of the barbecue and picnic facilities located on the grassy esplanade.
