If you’ve ever found yourself on the Capricorn Coast, you’ve no doubt made your way to Yeppoon. Sitting 38 kilometres northeast of beef capital Rockhampton (which offers regular flights from all over Australia), this coastal town is the gateway to the Southern Great Barrier Reef and Great Keppel Island, not to mention one of the most popular places to visit in the Capricorn Region.

You’ll find plenty of ways to spend your time while you’re in Yeppoon; wander the Capricorn Coast National Park, splash about in Yeppoon Lagoon, or island hop to Great Keppel or Pumpkin Island by ferry. But before you jump into one of the many new experiences on offer you’ll need to find somewhere to stay, luckily Yeppoon accommodation is diverse, with something to suit all types of holidaymakers and budgets.
