How to get from A to B

Whether you're arriving from interstate or flying in from New Zealand, getting to Queensland should be as seamless as possible.

Air travel is the most convenient way to get to Queensland, but for a wider range of options that are of the cheaper variety, bus, rail and cruise services are all located in central areas of Australia.

Whether you're flying into Queensland, or flying within Queensland, the information on this page should help you plan your trip.

Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Cairns all have international terminals, although Brisbane and Gold Coast are the two that operate year-round for Kiwis arriving in Queensland. Most long-haul flights land at Brisbane International Airport, although several services fly direct to these other airports.

Connecting from interstate? Most will have the choice of flying to Queensland with Qantas, Virgin Australia or Jetstar.
