Known as ‘The Bun’ by locals, the pub serves up delicious pub meals, great coffee and a range of craft beers, all with a side of history in the Western Downs.
Over 100 years old, this pub is home to an important piece of military memorabilia, including signatures from World War One diggers. Check out the framed piece of wood in the Hidden Signatures Memorial, along with a group of photos of those who scribbled their names.
Built-in 1912 the pub takes pride of place in the town of Kaimkillenbun. Pull up a stool and enjoy a yarn with the locals and the publican who has a huge collection of artefacts appealing to car enthusiasts and historians alike, including signed photos, miniature toy cars and a garage full of vintage cars.
The pub also had a brush with Hollywood fame when it was used as the set for the 1983 movie Chase Through the Night featuring Nicole Kidman.
Home to the Moo and Brew Festival held in November each year.
