Solar Whisper is the only zero emission boat on the Daintree River. Quietly glide up to crocodiles & other wildlife without scaring them or hurting their habitat.

Solar Whisper is a quiet, clean, solar electric boat. There are no petrol or exhaust fumes. Being quiet allows them to get closer to nature without disturbing it.

Small group numbers allow for a very personalised tour. The boat is small enough to get into some of the narrow rainforest creeks. Your experienced guide will explain the important mangrove ecosystem and help with spotting wildlife.

Salt water crocodiles are seen on most trips with the chance to see beautiful birds, butterflies, snakes, frogs and crabs. If an animal is difficult to see the boat is fitted with the unique "Croc Cam" which allows you to view the magnified wildlife using an onboard screen like communal binoculars.

Cruise the famous Daintree River, a link between two world heritage areas, the rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef.

As well as their regular one hour cruises they have a smaller electric boat for a two hour photography/birding cruise. Regular schedules and charters available.
