Homewood Cottages are situated in the heart of Highfields only ten kilometres north of Toowoomba just off the New England Highway. The cottages border Davidson’s Arboretum an exquisite 1 hectare parkland featuring many varieties of beautiful autumn trees.

The cottages are ideally situated and offer great ambience for a romantic weekend, relaxing midweek break, and also available for longer stays. Free Wifi is available for guests.

Forest cottage has wheelchair accessibility and suitable for guests with reduced mobility and is also our pet friendly cottage.

The Highfields area offers many local eateries, cafes, country pubs, arts and craft shops, historical sites, museums, country markets, chocolates shop, beautiful parks and gardens, lakes and national parks.

The adjoining Arboretum is suitable for garden weddings featuring a beautiful avenue and pathways lined with flowering bulbs and deciduous trees.

Charming one bedroom cottage featuring polished recycled timbers, queen size brass bed, spa bath, fireplace heating and covered car parking. Fully self contained kitchen, private living area with television, leading onto front veranda overlooking established gardens and Davidson Arboretum.

Forest Cottage

English style white double brick cottage with two king-size bedrooms, two bathrooms and an open fireplace. Each bedroom features french doors that open onto their own private courtyard surrounded by trees and terraced gardens. Well-appointed kitchen facilities, television, living area with comfortable furnishings. This cottage has disabled facilities and access. Forest cottage is pet friendly, please send a request if you wish to bring your pet. The Forest cottage is not fully fenced but is located at the rear of the property.
