Lake Elphinstone is a natural lake within the Isaac Region. Water skiing is allowed in one section of the lake when water height allows. The lake attracts an abundance of birdlife making bird watching a popular activity with visitors.
Glenden is the nearest township to Lake Elphinstone, with petrol and grocery supplies available, 25 kilometres away.
The lake is a popular destination for fishing, kayaking and water skiing with free camping and amenities available beside the lake. Red Claw crayfish can be caught here.
Public facilities include toilets, showers, wood barbecues, boat ramp and picnic tables. It is advisable to take your own drinking water.
Access is via a normal vehicle.
