Ipswich: 30 kilometres, 30-minute drive from Brisbane CBD

Explore gracious old buildings, beautiful parks and a quirky food and shopping precinct in Queensland’s oldest provincial city.

City of Logan: 20 kilometres, 30-minute drive

Heart-thumping adrenaline, multicultural immersion or reconnecting with nature – City of Logan has it all.

Moreton Bay Region: 20 kilometres, 30-minute drive

Take a drive along the mountain roads through dense forest, or head seaward for dolphin-spotting and lazy evenings spent by the sea.

Moreton Island: 70-min ferry

Just 25 kilometres off the shore is the third-largest sand island in the world. Find pristine beaches, mysterious wrecks, hand feed wild dolphins and quad bikes.

North Stradbroke Island: 40-min drive and 25 or 50-min ferry

Straddie (to the locals) is famous for its scenic headlands, freshwater lakes, rolling surf and endless white sandy beaches. It's a great place to spot whales in the winter months.

Redlands Coast: 25 kilometres, 30-minute drive

From the coast to the hinterland, the Redlands offers a charming seaside and natural bushland experience.

Scenic Rim: 60 kilometres, 60-minute drive

Brisbane’s World Heritage-listed backyard is home to lush rainforests, spectacular mountain ranges and local food and wine.
