Overlooking the bay, Wellington Point Recreation Reserve is family-friendly, offering shaded playgrounds, a calm sandy beach, boat ramps, a popular jetty, and the iconic King Island walk.

The walk to King Island (Erobin) is one of the most unique walks in south-east Queensland. At low tide, the spectacular sand causeway between the Wellington Point Recreation Reserve and King Island emerges, forming a natural bridge offering the perfect activity for walkers and families. Feel the sand between your toes, breathe in the fresh air and enjoy the stunning ocean views along this easy two-kilometre return walk.

A must do experience on Redlands Coast, be sure to check the tide times before you head out – it’s a strictly low-tide affair.

Amenities include shaded barbecues and picnic tables, accessible toilets, exercise equipment, along with nearby cafes providing the ideal location for enjoying lunch with family and friends.
