Boondooma Dam Caravan and Recreation Park

Boondooma Dam Caravan and Recreation Park is a fishing paradise and one of the most popular recreational fishing spots in southeast Queensland. Located on the Boyne River, it's a short 15-kilometre drive from Proston and approximately 3.5 hours from Brisbane.

The beautiful scenery and bushland surrounding the dam provide a perfect place for rest and relaxation, or a family picnic with the kids!

Accommodation available includes fully self-contained, air-conditioned cabins with lake views, a bunkhouse, powered caravan sites ("Lookout" and "Lakeside Terraces") and water's edge camping sites, Boondooma Dam offers families, couples and groups a comfortable stay.

There are excellent amenities, hot showers, and laundry facilities. The kiosk sells basic food items, ice creams, bait and tackle, and ice. Fuel and oil are available. Boat ramps, pontoon, camp kitchen, wood and electric barbeques and playground equipment ensure a fun time for every member of the family.
