Blue Pearl Bay is situated on the northwestern side of Hayman Island, part of the Whitsundays Group. It is a popular destination for both tourists and locals, offering excellent opportunities for snorkeling, diving, and sightseeing. The bay is renowned for its vibrant coral and diverse marine life, including a resident Maori Wrasse.

Private charters and overnight boats frequently visit Blue Pearl Bay for snorkeling and scuba diving adventures. Most visitors either swim directly from their vessel or take a tender to the southern beach, where they enter the water from the coral beach.

Diving at Blue Pearl Bay ranges in depth from 3 to 18 meters, with visibility typically ranging from 3 to 15 meters.
