Your Mates BowlsPub Rebrands as Crackerjack: Cooroy’s Newest Spot for Asian & Casual Dining

Inspired by the 2002 film Crackerjack with Mick Molloy, the historic Cooroy Bowls Club, founded in 1944, has been given a fresh life by locals who saw its potential. Today, Your Mates BowlsPub reopens as Crackerjack - a lively Asian dining and social hub in the heart of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.

Helmed by Executive Chef Jake Pregnell, who has sharpened his skills in top kitchens like Rick Shores, Hôntô, and Spirit House, Crackerjack brings an elevated yet approachable Asian-inspired menu. Designed for sharing, each dish celebrates bold flavours, creating a memorable dining experience for every guest.

The 'Banquet House,' Crackerjack's dedicated dining area, offers a unique blend of Asian-inspired cuisine and nostalgic lawn memorabilia, creating a warm, casual atmosphere. Staying true to their Your Mates roots, they’ve kept a selection of classic pub favourites, honouring loyal patrons who’ve made this spot their go-to for years.

Crackerjack’s revamped venue caters to all ages with a kids' playground, air-conditioned spaces, outdoor dining, and a bowling green to keep the sport alive. Large function rooms and private dining spaces are available for hire, offering a blend of style and community charm. With Your Mates brews on tap, Crackerjack is the perfect spot for everyone to kick back and relax.
