Hinchinbrook Eco Experience is an all-inclusive, accessible eco-tour or eco-fishing experience for families, couples, and groups.

They cater for the elderly, injured, and those with limited mobility, and they are wheelchair friendly.

They access, embrace, and protect Hinchinbrook Island's natural beauty, ecosystems, creeks, fauna, flora, history, and the Dreamtime stories of local traditional owners.

Their luxury custom 6-metre pontoon boat is a perfect platform to get you and your essentials for a day out including luxury lounges, tables and pedestal seats. They also offer wheelchair tie-down points and side access ramps and a slide-out boarding ramp for ease of use.

Eco South Tour

Discover the hidden gems of Southern Hinchinbrook Island and experience the breathtaking views from the beach to The Bluff and don't miss the chance to visit the iconic Lucinda Sugar Loading Jetty.

They also weave their way through a narrow serpentine mangrove creek, further upstream Mt Straloch (953m) and Mt Diamantina (922m) rise above and the creek & opens up for unparalleled amazing panoramic photo opportunities. Visit the Herbert river shacks crossing Hinchinbrook Channel again and cruise to Haycock Island, this little island has amazing flora and fauna. It’s a hot spot for predatory sea birds, like Ospreys and Kites seeking their prey.

Marvel at the panoramic mountain views, the largest of all Hinchinbrook Island’s creeks, with the mountains, Mt Bowen (1121m) and The Finger (1022m) towering above lush vegetation, its the heart this unique wilderness location. The inlet transitions from full saltwater, to brackish, to a rainforest stream. It’s a true wonder of diversity, from mangroves to gum trees, Tea Tree and Melaleuca lowlands, to untouched tropical rainforest and gin clear water. Keep a look out for crocodiles, turtles, snubfin dolphins and stingrays, and learn about Girramay and Bandjin Culture and language, Girragil the Eelman Jaban.

Eco Fish

Looking for a great tour for anglers in your group or family? Look no further than the Hinchinbrook Channel four hour fishing and sightseeing tour. They offer a variety of fishing techniques to suit your needs and location, so you can catch the prized NQ Barramundi, Mangrove Jack, Grunter, and more. Join them for a day of fishing and sightseeing that you won't forget.​

This tour allows a bit more time to embrace Hinchinbrook’s natural beauty, by stopping for second or two and looking around before each cast. These areas can be alive with marine activity. As you drift along fishing, stingrays, turtles, barramundi and mullet will dart around. It’s raw nature at its best, as it’s an eat or be eaten world on the flats, drains and points.

A selection of rods, reels, lures and other fishing tackle are provided, but you are welcome to bring your favourite gear.

Non angling, sight seeing highlights of the day includes Lucinda Sugar loading jetty a architectural masterpiece, Haycock island and the highlight is the cruise up Deluge Inlet, the largest of all Hinchinbrook Island’s creeks, with the mountains, Mt Bowen (1121m) and The Finger (1022m) towering above.
