Surround yourself with green rolling hills and breathtaking coastal views by taking a short drive up the range to the gorgeous village of Mapleton. Grab a bite to eat at the local tavern or a cup of coffee at one of the quaint cafes along the hilltop.

A 'must see' while you're in town is the spectacular Mapleton Falls located in a national park just a short drive away. There are a number of day walks to do in the park where you can enjoy the beauty of the rainforest with all its birdlife.

And a bit of trivia for those who enjoy a good story or two, each year Mapleton hosts a Yarn Festival which involves spinners of tall tales and true stories gathering to celebrate the art of the Aussie bush ballad.
