Each of their free-standing luxurious self contained cottages cater for couples only and have panoramic views of the lake and rain forest from the balconies. Each cottage is private and secluded surrounded by lush tropical gardens.

As you sit back and relax, you can view the blanketing mist as it gently rolls over the lake at sunrise, a truly magical experience which gives rise to the name Misty View.

Lalique Cottage

The “Lalique Cottage” with its exotic ambiance offers a truly unique experience.

Wake up to the sounds of the rainforest’s waterfall running nearby. Enjoy total seclusion and relax in surrounding absolute luxury.

The Lalique Cottage is accessed by its own private road and is set overlooking 2 acres of lush lawn, surrounded by rainforest with stunning views of Lake Baroon. The cottage is fully self-contained with little extras such as local chocolates, home made biscuits and fresh home made sourdough. A heated plunge pool with a king size day bed is for you alone.

Savoy, Charleston and Gatsby Cottages

Unwind in the delicious surroundings of our Lake View Spa Cottages with views encompassing rainforest, lush rolling greenery and sparkling Lake Baroon. All three cottages have a king size bed, double spa, kitchenette and fireplace.

Secluded and separate from other guests, your time here can be spent snuggled inside or out enjoying what the beautiful hinterland has to offer.

Ponti Cottage

The latest addition to Misty View Cottages is the beautifully appointed Ponti.

Ponti is named after Carlo Ponti, the filmmaker who made Sophia Loren a star and his wife in the 1940's. Ponti is renowned for luxurious Italian style and we have brought that to our Misty View Ponti Cottage for you to enjoy.

Ponti was purposefully built amongst the trees with over 1000m2 of revegetated land providing a private hideaway. The cottage is all on one level with its own private heated swim spa, a large freestanding luxury bath and couples shower with full glass window overlooking the rainforest. For your convenience we have included a well appointed kitchen, coffee machine and BBQ on the deck.

We have curated Ponti to provide you with a beautiful, luxurious and comfortable environment so you feel like you are in your own world. Decorated with artworks from the Sunshine Coast’s local artists and we bring nature indoors with a selection of luscious plants. Ponti’s sleek stylish deco lines are complemented by the warmth and colour of European rugs.
