The Burdekin Gateway Visitor Information Centre is located on Railway Avenue in Home Hill. Situated behind the Home Hill Comfort Stop, it's the ideal place to call in when first arriving in town.
Staffed by knowledgeable local volunteers, this accredited Visitor Information Centre offers Driver Reviver services to travellers, an extensive range of maps, brochures, flyers and collateral on the Burdekin and surrounding regions as well as expert advice. Free Wi-Fi is also available.
The centre is air-conditioned and houses part of the Lower Burdekin Historical Society photographic collection of the building of the Burdekin Bridge from 1947 to 1957.
