In case you needed further convincing to add Queensland to your must-visit list, Airbnb has included the Sunshine State in their list of Top 20 Destinations for Remote Work

Putting a spotlight on some of the best remote worker-friendly destinations from around the world, the Top 20 list highlights a range of locations that offer flexibility for the growing number of travellers looking to visit incredible destinations for more than just a holiday. Queensland is in good company amongst the likes of the Canary Islands and the Caribbean, with key reasons for the inclusion being our magnificent World Heritage-Listed wonders, incredible cultural experiences, ease of accessibility, fast and reliable technology and a range of accommodation offerings

As part of the partnership with Queensland, Airbnb is building a dedicated Queensland hub on their website with useful information for aspiring remote workers. With long term stays at an all-time high, Airbnb co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer Nathan Blecharczyck hopes the new portal will inspire travellers to explore somewhere new.

In collaborating with these 20 destinations, we want to make it easier for workers to enjoy this flexibility and support the return of safe and responsible travel. We’re excited to launch this one-stop shop for anyone thinking of joining the millions of workers that are already enjoying this new trend of working flexibility and travel
