Looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city living, and get back to what’s real? A weekend getaway in the Scenic Rim does exactly what it says on the tin, and there are now two new accommodation options to base yourself at and enjoy it all in.
After many years of planning, design and construction, bookings are now open at Beechmont Estate to stay from 1 September 2021. Just 90 minutes south of Brisbane, this luxury country retreat is situated on a polo and Wagyu farm just outside the small township of Beechmont, on the edge of World Heritage-listed Lamington National Park.
Choose from three accommodation types at Beechmont Estate: the exclusive Luxury Pavilions overlooking the lush green paddocks and polo field, the King Farm Cabins each with their own private deck, and intimate Queen Farm Cabins for those seeking luxurious touches combined with serenity.
During your visit, expect to enjoy a relaxing getaway in a down to earth setting, enjoy a beautiful meal in "The Paddock Restaurant" with their acclaimed chef, visit the day spa, go on a bushwalk, or just sit by your very own fireplace with a glass of wine and enjoy the view.
Also opening in the Scenic Rim is new accommodation at The Overflow 1895. While its premium wines, cellar door, functions and events are the usual stars of the show, the estate is getting ready to launch its first on-site WanderPods on 1 August 2021.
Designed with simplicity and comfort in mind to encourage a blurring between ‘inside’ and ‘outside’, Wander leads the emerging category of transformational travel and provides luxury, eco-aware accommodation.
Guests can expect to find a king-size bed, eco-linen, a kitchenette, large living-dining space, and bathroom with a walk-in shower – all while surrounded by the rural beauty of the Scenic Rim.
