A Sunshine Coast beach house has won gold in the Stayz 10th annual Holiday Home of the Year Awards.
Barra Luxe Beach House, a transformed 1970s beach shack in Port Arkwright, ranked number one in Australia for the number of bookings over the past year, traveller reviews and star ratings, amenities and the home catering to families.
“The winning home reflects today’s travel trends where we’re increasingly seeing holidaymakers take frequent and sometimes last-minute road trips to private holiday houses in coastal locations" said Simone Scoppa, Travel Expert at Stayz.

The five-bedroom, four-bathroom house features a pool, terrace, galley kitchen, and all of the amenities of a luxury coastal home. The near proximity to Yaroomba Beach, where you can see Loggerhead turtles, dolphins, and whales, is a big plus for guests.
