Crocodile Express was the first wildlife cruise operator on the Daintree River in 1979. Your cruise will take you along sections of this spectacular waterway with your guide pointing out wildlife and flora along the foreshore and creeks. Their naturalist guides will interpret the importance of this amazing World Heritage location. A cruise on the Daintree River is a "must-do" activity as part of your Daintree Rainforest experience. The vessels are well equipped, comfortable and stable in all weather conditions.
Crocodile Express is the only operator with two different departure points along a twelve kilometre stretch of the river. This gives visitors the best opportunities to see wildlife and the diversity of this amazing eco system. From rainforest to mangroves the scenery is spectacular. The Upper Daintree section from Daintree Village is especially popular for bird watching and departures from Daintree Gateway near the Daintree River Ferry crossing offers spectacular views of Thornton Peak, rainforest and mangroves. Daintree River is well known for it's saltwater crocodiles which can be seen in both sections of the River
Both cruises are included in your ticket price and you can come back again unlimited times for 30 days.
