Although the Fraser Coast is known for being the world’s whale-watching capital, it’s also home to an amazing 120kms of beach highway on K'gari (formerly Fraser Island). Strictly 4WD territory, 75 Mile Beach runs up the surf side of the island and has a treasure trove of activities to make pit-stops at.

Here you’ll find the Maheno shipwreck, Champagne Pools and the striking volcanic rock formation of Indian Head. As part of the Great Beach Drive, continue your adventure back on the mainland in history-filled Maryborough before continuing to the aquatic playground of Hervey Bay and the Great Sandy Strait.
