There’s nowhere better to escape the everyday and unwind than Port Douglas. This chic coastal village is not just one of the best day trips from Cairns, but a great spot to base yourself for a getaway the offers relaxation and adventure.

But getting flat out on perfect beaches, snorkelling the Great Barrier Reef, or cutting through clear waters on a yacht aren’t the only way to relax and recharge. A touch of retail therapy goes a long way, too.

If you’re planning a Port Douglas holiday, a spot of shopping should be top of your list. The local art, jewellery, fashion, and homewares on offer are the ideal reminder of your time in this beautiful slice of Queensland, or a unique gift for that lucky someone.

Use this Port Douglas shopping guide to lead the way.
